Russet Potatoes

Salt

Pepper ( optional )

Oil

What To Do

Heat Oil in a small stockpot. Make sure to take them temperature or test the oil to see if it hot enough by placing a slice of potato into the oil if it starts frying right away then you are good to go. I notice that medium high for 10 minutes is perfect for me.

I use a potato peeler but instead of peeling off the skin I peel thin slices of potatoes.

Place them in the oil till golden brown.

Always place done chips on a paper towel to soak up excess grease.

While the chips are STILL hot sprinkle salt ( and pepper)
