Marissa Mayer has hired her first Googler, Kara Swisher at All Things D reports.

The honor goes to...

Anne Espiritu! She'll be working in PR (corporate communications) for Mayer.

She worked with Mayer at Google, quite a bit in the past, says Swisher.

We assume Espiritu is just the first of many to come.
